Need some interiors inspiration? Check out how stylish people – including some top designers - are using Pooky table lamps in their rooms…
Naturally we think our lamps look pretty special anywhere, but we do love seeing them out of the showroom and doing their thing in the real world: creating moods and making interiors sing. Recently we featured posts about how some of the UK’s top interior designers have been using Pooky’s table lamps and shades in their gorgeously-styled rooms. And it seems you’re all getting inspired, as you’ve been sharing your fabulous pics of your lamps and shades in situ. Here’s a gallery of some of our favourite table lamp pics from recent weeks…
Cool colours…
How about this ‘dream dressing room’ designed by Gallagher London for a very upmarket Kensington artist studio. Our Wisteria lamp seems to fit in anywhere, doesn’t it? (For a striking contrast, see it looking equally at home in a treehouse).
This is a seriously impressive contemporary hallway by West London-based designers My Studio, featuring the Crescent in white and an Apple linen shade elegantly balancing the neutrals:
And frankly it’s a privilege to see our Lola lamp in emerald illuminating the new living room of the impossibly stylish London trend-setter Laura Fantacci. Apparently she “managed to swing pink linen curtains by my husband selling them as 'blush.'
Stunning side-tables
Now this is just lovely. Instagrammer One Pea and Me clearly has an eye for an arrangement – our Elsa table lamp in olive with block printed empire shade makes a cameo appearance.
How about this gloriously bold arrangement by the irrepressible Holly Alexandra (aka @thestyledlifestyle)? It features not one but two of our Artur artichoke-shaped ceramic lamps, with the Heraldic shades. Eye-popping!

Bedside statements
Of course, table lamps are often used as bedside lights – and they can make a real statement in the bedroom, as these shots prove. We love this styling by the brilliant Alison Cork of our magenta Saba lamp and gold shade with a sofa.com bed. Bold yet impeccably tasteful as ever.
This extremely smart arrangement by Victoria and Taline of Olivine Life online interior designers proves that tall, slim table lamps – in this case our brass Trafalgar with a coral lampshade – can make for warm and comforting bedside lights.
And this is terrific inspiration for those who like their chic to be a little shabby, courtesy of Hampshire-based interior designers Peake Design. A pair of our Antoinette silvered glass table lamps, with the straight Empire shade in Balinese Ferns block printed cotton and ‘pinky pink’ tape as bedside lamps, going very nicely with the Lewis and Wood Beech wallpaper, and a cat.
And finally…
Last but by no means least, what can we say about this? It’s only legendary dog of instagram Hector Pickleton, who appears to have found himself on top of a wardrobe, next to a Verona table lamp with ikat shade. Any why not?
We'd love to see your own pics of Pooky lamps or shades at home, so that we can all inspire each other. Email Emma at emma@pooky.com or share your pics on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
