The Childhood Trust is London’s child poverty charity, dedicated to alleviating the impact of poverty on children and young people living in the capital. Children growing up in poverty face multiple and complex challenges, which can limit their development and degrade their potential. London has the highest rate of child poverty in England. The Childhood Trust’s work is focused on supporting the 800,000 plus children living in poverty in the capital.
The Childhood trust do a project called 'decorate a child's life' where they decorate the rooms of children living in poverty within London. As a mother herself, and a creative, this is something Emma feels very strongly about. Children should always be surrounded by a space where they feel comfortable, safe and inspiring.
