Looking for interior design inspiration for your kitchen? Perhaps pendant lights slung elegantly over an island? Here are some sensationally beautiful kitchens, all with Pooky pendants styled by the experts…
Is there anything more stylish than a pendant light or three hovering over a kitchen island or dining table? At Pooky we’ve really built up our range of pendants in recent times and we reckon we’ve got something to set off any kitchen style, from Scandi cool to English country. Here are some ideas - including, for your inspiration, some Instagram snaps of the lights in real kitchens styled by top interior designers...
Dexter in black and white
A sturdy light in solid brass, the Dexter is all about clean lines and slick design - perfect for a contemporary scheme.
Espere in clear glass
For elegant simplicity, how about a clear blown glass dome? Our latest addition to our range in this style is the Espere, shown here with a brass ‘gallery’ (that’s the technical term for the top bit). It's also available with a gallery in antique silver and in bronze. Here’s a snap of interior designer Ellie Dichler’s kitchen, featuring the Espere’s predecessor the Mundo (still available in perforated brass).
Thea in copper
The Thea is a Danish-inspired solid brass pendant (we modelled it on a light we saw in a shop in Copenhagen) and has all the Scandi cool you could wish for. It looks right at home as a trio over an island in this stunning contemporary bespoke kitchen by Herringbone Kitchens.
Coolie hat in stone
For a versatile pendant light that will work anywhere and in any arrangement (singles, clusters or rows), the coolie hat is a classic. Ours come in a range of colours and finishes. Here’s the stone version in a cool blue country-style kitchen at the beautiful Chelsea showroom of The Wedding Present Co.
Unfortunately the Coolie range is no longer available, but please take a look at our new Cookie range here.
